How should I plan to get from the church to the venue?
It is roughly a 30-minute drive from St. Nicholas to The Albion. We plan to set up transportation for those that have indicated on their response cards. Note that the bus will likely only go to The Albion, so if you're staying elsewhere, please plan accordingly, whether that means getting a ride from the venue or otherwise! We don't foresee ubers being an issue.
Why the gap in time between the ceremony and cocktail hour?
Given guests may not be checking into their respective lodgings prior to the ceremony, and because the ride is about 30 minutes, we want to ensure guests have enough time to get situated before the party starts. If guests arrive at the venue early and ready to party, The Albion has a lobby bar that people can check out while they wait. Selfishly, the gap also allows Jenna and Paulie to get their pictures out of the way so they can spend as much time as possible with you all!
Will there be an after party?
Since you asked... yes, Jenna and Paulie have reserved the speakeasy in The Albion for an hour post-reception. There will be some light bites alongside an open bar
